Please pass this email on to the appropriate person [b]Safer training areas in Dahab[/b] Volunteer divers are needed to take part in project to create safer confined water training areas in Dahab. Dahab-based divers are required to help install and secure safety buoys and lines in the training area in the Lagoon area of Dahab. Organised by the CDWS, the project is expected to take two days this week to complete. The event is to be held on 18 and 19 August. [b][u]1st day :[/b][/u] - Divers will work at a maximum depth of 12m to install and secure 10 safety buoys and 150m of line, with 70 buoys including cement blocks of 30kgs each. [b][u]2nd day :[/b][/u] - Divers will work at a maximum depth of 15m to install and secure 15 safety buoys and 200m of line, with 40 buoys including cement blocks of 30kgs each. [b]We will need the following from diving and water sports centres who are willing to take part in this event:[/b] - 10 professional divers equipped with gloves and lift bag for each buddy team of 50kgs lift capacity - 4 handlers to handle the buoys, ropes and the cement blocks on the surface.
