CHAMBER OF DIVING & WATERSPORTS


Dear Dahab CDWS members, CDWS is requesting volunteer assistance from members for a new project to provide a safer confined water training area in the Lagoon area of Dahab. [u]The event will take place on the 18th and 19th August [/u] [b][u]1st day :[/b][/u] - Divers will work at a maximum depth of 12 msw to install and secure 10 safety buoys and 150 Mt.. of line with 70 buoys including cement blocks of 30 kgs each. [b][u]2nd day :[/b][/u] - Divers will work at a maximum depth of 15 msw to install and secure 15 safety buoys and 200 Mt.. of line with 40 buoys including cement blocks of 30 kgs each. [b]We will need the following from diving and water sports centres who are willing to take part in this event:[/b] - 10 professional divers equipped with gloves and lift bag for each buddy team of 50 kgs lift capacity - 4 handlers to handle the buoys, ropes and the cement blocks on the surface. - 1 or 2 small boats to transport the ropes and the block to the fixing spot.
